CHAMPAIGN — Three long-running rock groups will take the stage at the State Farm Center this spring.

The State Farm Center and Central Illinois Multimedia Group are partnering to present a rock concert with performances by Foghat, Rare Earth, and Badfinger featuring Joey Molland on April 24.

The show will start at 7 p.m. with Rare Earth, followed by Badfinger and Foghat.

Tickets will go on sale at noon Friday and can be purchased at statefarmcenter.com, by calling 866-ILLINI-1, or at the Illinois Ticket Office at the venue. Prices range from $35 to $85, not including fees. Students with a university ID will receive a $5 discount.

This is the first time any of the three bands — who have had several gold, platinum and double platinum albums and singles throughout their combined histories — have performed at the venue, organizers said.

Molland is the only surviving original member of Badfinger.
