Stephen Tompkinson Is in Court for Hitting an Intoxicated Man

The court heard that Stephen Tompkinson punched a drunk man who was making noise outside his house because he didn’t like it. The drunk man now has serious brain damage.

On May 30, 2021, the Sherwood star will stand trial for causing Karl Poole serious physical harm.

The man from Britain denied the charges and told the cops that he acted out of self-defense.

Michael Bunch, the prosecutor, stated to the court that the 57-year-old called the police at 5:30 a.m. before confronting the two inebriated individuals.

The DCI Banks star told the police that he told the drunk men to “move on” from his private land while taking a bottle of Jagermeister.

Played in court, the call features the actor complaining about “two incapable drunks” outside his home, one of whom is “just in his underwear.”

“I’ve asked them to move.” The British man told the cops, “They can’t move.”

The jury has heard that Mr. Poole and his friend, Andrew Hall, have been drunk since midnight. They went to the beach to watch the sunrise and then walked back to Mr. Hall’s house, where they ran into Mr. Tompkinson’s house.
