LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — “Streetmosphere,” the live singing performances at The Grand Canal Shoppes on the Las Vegas Strip, will be ending next month after running for more than 20 years.
Best Agency notified cast members last week that the Streetmosphere program would be closing as of Dec. 6, according to a letter shared with News 3.
News 3 has reached out to a spokesperson for the Grand Canal Shoppes for comment.
“This decision was not made lightly and was not due to any performance or program issues,” the letter states.
Cast members are directed to inquire with Best Agency if interested in joining another program within the agency.
The Grand Canal Shoppes website describes Streetmosphere as “Renaissance-inspired entertainment” that “boasts reimagined eye-catching historical, yet chic looks and a Pop Opera-style sound.”
It has been operating daily since 1999, except when the resort was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Performances are complimentary with no tickets required.
