The Friends of the Sebring Parks organization has announced the schedule for its summer concerts.
The shows will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays at Southside Memorial Park, 306 W. Texas Ave. in Sebring. Here are the shows planned this summer:
June 21: John Hampu Band, old time rock and roll.
June 28: The Tropiholics, laid-back summer trop music.
July 12: American Steal Band, classic rock and country.
Aug. 2: Cold Shot, classic rock.
Aug. 23: Uptown Band, ’60s through ’80s variety.
“Southside Memorial Park is such a beautiful setting for summer concerts – sun and shade, a cool breeze on a summer evening, and great music,” , said Susan Sanor, concert coordinator. “Bring your family and friends and enjoy music in the park this summer.”
Sanor said concerts this year were made possible with contributions from American Legion Post 76, Village of Sebring, Stryffeler Tree Service, Williams and Case Insurance, Sebring Village Manager Tim Gabrelcik; and Cindy Christani, Laurie Springer, Joe Amabeli, and Beth and Steve Myers.
