What’s a holiday without Swarovski?

The luxury jeweler revealed its 2023 holiday campaign dubbed “Celebrate Wonder”. Captured by Steven Meisel, Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert depicts a journey into the infinite creative promise of a Swarovski crystal, brought to life in a series of unique portraits by Meisel. The campaign is vitalized with captivating, boundary-pushing makeup looks by artist Dame Pat McGrath.

Each look in the campaign features five distinct personalities that celebrate the wonder of the holiday season, inspired by Swarovski’s iconic jewelry collections including Blue Gema, a luminous blue and clear crystals shine, Mesmera Stardust, a hypnotic design made for after dark, Matrix Supernova, an edgy glow with the magnetic beauty of clear crystals, Punk Luna, conveying mystical energy with moon-inspired motifs, and finally Hyperbola Nebula, invigorated with vibrant green crystals, alongside and complementary crystal headpiece created by Stephen Jones.

“Celebrate Wonder” is the newest addition to the Crystal Metamorphosis story, transforming characters into shimmering jewelry pieces that exemplify Swarovski’s joyful extravagance, savoir-faire, and mastery of light.

My vision centered around the idea of women, all with distinct looks and personalities, transforming into the jewelry pieces they are wearing. Together with Steven Meisel and Pat McGrath, we have created magic in a series of images that capture the festive glamour and wonder of the holiday season”, notes Engelbert.
