Syracuse basketball player Benny Williams reinstated after missing two games due to suspension

Syracuse, N.Y. ― Syracuse basketball player Benny Williams has been reinstated to the team after missing the Orange’s first two regular season games due to a suspension.

Williams, a 6-foot-9 junior, had been suspended for what was described as a violation of team rules prior to Syracuse’s exhibition game against the College of Saint Rose on Nov. 1. He then sat out SU’s regular season games against New Hampshire and Canisius this past week.
