The Syracuse Orange Men’s Basketball team is back on the road this weekend against the Virginia Cavaliers at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, December 2 (12/2/2023) at 12 p.m. ET.

Syracuse dismantled LSU in the ACC/SEC Challenge with an 80-57 win where Judah Mintz scored a career-high 33 points. Syracuse took crucial lessons in rebounding away from its tough trip to the Maui Invitational, and out-battled LSU with 43 rebounds to the Tigers’ 36.
Defensively, Syracuse’s players finally seemed to get the message that first-year head coach Adrian Autry has been trying to get through to them all year. LSU’s 57 points were 20 below the Tigers’ season average, and the Orange forced the Tigers into 39% field goal shooting, including a paltry 2-for-22 performance from 3-point range.
Now Syracuse will square off with its first ACC opponent of the season. Syracuse is 6-13 in the all-time head-to-head with Virginia.
