Patna: Patna Women’s College (PWC) organised a series of activities while celebrating World Ozone Day here on Monday. Students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in all these programmes.
The department of geography in collaboration with the Srishti Environment Club of PWC celebrated the day by highlighting this year’s theme of ‘Montreal protocol- advancing climate actions’ and calling upon the students to work for the conservation of natural resources and reduction of carbon emission.Geography department head Amrita Chowdhury encouraged students to take small initiatives towards the conservation of our environment on this planet. She highlighted the importance of protecting the ozone layer and fostering sustainable practices.

Trained locals help in rescue operations and managing human-wildlife conflicts, aiming to safeguard this rare species from habitat destruction and negative perceptions.
