STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State is set to host a two-day camp at the Tarleton Tennis Complex during Thanksgiving week.
“We are excited to host our first ever Tarleton Tennis Thanksgiving fall camp,” said head coach Elianne Douglas-Miron. “It’s a time to be thankful for what we have, and we are looking forward to celebrating our tennis community and providing a service during the holidays where tennis players can improve their game. We will be separating kids by age and ability level and hope to get everyone excited for our spring season coming up in January.”
The Purple and White will host “Turkey Camp” Nov. 20-21. This will be the first time that Tarleton State has hosted a camp during the Thanksgiving holiday. The camp will run 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day, with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Those ages 6-17 are welcome to sign up.
Campers will be split up by age and ability. Camps will focus on technique, individual instruction, tennis scoring format, games and point play. The camp is $200 per individual.
