Despite being imprisoned in Romania, the Tate brothers are still threatening the women accused of engaging in human trafficking. A law company defending Andrew and Tristan Tate, who has been detained for over two months on allegations involving six victims, sent a “cease-and-desist” letter to at least one of their accusers, threatening to sue her for $300 million if she did not retract her claims.
According to the letter, “In April 2022, you falsely claimed to a third party that our Client had forced you into human trafficking, subjected you to maltreatment, and imprisoned you.” Self-described sexist influencer Andrew and his brother are charged with assaulting many women sexually and pressuring them into creating profitable web porn. The letter was purely written to “shut down the witness; block the witness from putting testimony forward in any proceedings,” according to Benjamin Bull, who represents a crucial witness in the case. He called it “an effort to intimidate.” Another attorney representing numerous victims stated that the Tates’ army of devoted admirers has harassed her clients severely online.
