Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, who have been together since 2016, are said to have broken up.

ET was the first to report that the British actor and the Lavender Haze singer broke up a few weeks ago.

The report says that the breakup was peaceful and “was not dramatic.”

The news source also said that “the relationship had just run its course.” Because of this, Alwyn hasn’t been seen at any shows.” Swift, who is 33, is on her The Eras tour right now, and next week she will be in Tampa, Florida.

Even so, Swift and Alwyn were said to be doing well in their relationship just a few months ago.

In October, a source told ET that the couple was “doing great” and that their relationship was “super strong.”

But this news came just hours after the singer released her much-anticipated 10th studio album, Midnights. Then, she released seven more songs in a surprise edition of the album called 3am Edition.

Alwyn, who is 32 years old, told British Vogue in September 2018 that he knows fans always want to know what’s going on with him and Swift.

“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” he said about Swift to the magazine. “I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people.”

The song Gorgeous, which was on the singer’s album Reputation and came out in 2017, was also about Alwyn.

At the time, fans said on Tumblr that during a secret listening session for Reputation, the singer “made us all promise that if anyone accused us of knowing who this song is about, we would say that it is 100% about her angel boyfriend of one year. We all know this. She told us to tell everyone.”
