Taylor Swift Encourages Paramore to Re-Record Amid Label Dispute

Take a look at what Taylor Swift forced Paramore to do.

As the renowned rock band recently canceled their 20-year contract with Atlantic Records, vocalist Haley Williams – a close friend of Swift’s – is following in Swift’s footsteps by re-recording and re-claiming “ownership of their music,” according to The Sun.

“Taylor is really supportive to them behind the scenes and is always available to give them advice. She’s their biggest cheerleader,” a source added.

The band reportedly had a falling out with their management and wanted to recover their music as a result.

They’re planning a re-recording with Hayley’s publishing firm, But Father, I Just Want to Sing Music.

Taylor opted to re-record her songs when “bully” Scooter Braun purchased the company she was working with in 2019 — and with it the master recordings of her previous six albums.

She has re-recorded Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989 so far.

Notably, the Grammy winner has inspired more musicians than just Paramore, with a source telling The Sun, “There’s likely to be more bands and artists who re-record their music in years to come to regain rights.”
