Taylor Swift tried to shield her friend Sophie Turner from the media during their recent outings following her nasty divorce from now-estranged Joe Jonas.

The Game of Thrones veteran, who was sighted with the Lover singer and her close friends several times, appeared to dodge the spotlight with her low-key visits.

Judi James, a body language specialist, told The Mirror, “Sophie Turner was seen holding hands with Taylor like Brittany Mahomes on a previous night out, suggesting a kind of ‘big sis’ protective response after Sophie’s split from her husband.”

Turner, according to James, “wants to look like less of a party animal” during her ongoing feud with her ex-lover.

The expert went on to say that Taylor, who dated Joe briefly in 2008, has always stepped ahead, implying that she may be assisting Turner in maintaining a little lower and more muted public profile.

Joe and Sophie announced their divorce on September 5, stating that it was a “joint decision” to “mutually end their marriage.”

Turner was recently photographed kissing the British aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, just two months after their breakup.

Jonas and Turner married in 2019.

Willa, three, and Delphine, one, are the ex-couple’s daughters.
