Taylor Swift on the Verge of Tears During Eras Tour Performance After Matty Healy Split

Taylor Swift couldn’t keep her emotions in check as she sang her 2017 song, I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, from the Fifty Shades Darker album, only a day after breaking up with Matty Healy.

During the second night of her Chicago Eras Tour, the Grammy-winning diva performed her classic duet with Zayn Malik.

Swift was visibly upset in a social media video of her singing the line, “Wondering if I dodged a bullet, Or just lost the love of my life, oh.”

Fans saw how the singer sucked in her breath to keep her cool while singing through her emotions.

Fans expressed their sympathies in response to the video clip posted numerous times on social media networks.

“She looks so sad, I want to hug her,” one fan said.

“…lost the love of my life…” takes in a breath to keep her voice from shaking, another commentator observed.

“That line is hitting a little too close to home for her,” said another.

Swift has been singing ‘two surprise songs’ each night during her Eras Tour concerts, and I Don’t Wanna Live Forever was included on Saturday, along with You All Over Me, which she performed with Maren Morris.

The genuine emotional performance occurred after she and Matty Healy apparently called it quits after a brief month-long affair.

In May, it was revealed that the couple had “rekindled” their decade-long romance, with a source telling the Sun that they are “madly in love.” Swift and Healy first became acquainted in late 2014, when the Blank Space singer attended several The 1975 gigs in Los Angeles.

The romance rumors surfaced barely two months after the Lavender Haze singer ended her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn.
