Taylor Swift ‘Roasts’ Her Friend Jack Antonoff in a ‘Hilarious’ Toast at His Wedding

Taylor Swift was a big part of her friend Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding in New Jersey on Saturday, but she also made sure to give a special toast to the newlyweds.

Page Six sources say that the Grammy-winning singer “roasted” the couple in a funny and loving way during her long speech, which they called a “raucous 15-minute speech.”

It was followed by a song called “Margaret” that Lana Del Rey had written for the bride.

Back in 2012, Swift and Antonoff became fast friends. In 2013, they worked together on the music for the movie “One Chance.” In 2014, they produced the singer’s hit album “1989.”

Over the past ten years, they have continued to work together and have won a number of awards for it. The drummer from the band Lover has won 12 Grammys and other awards, while Antonoff, who is the lead singer for the band Bleachers, has only won eight so far.

Swift made a joke at her friend’s wedding about how she always thanks Antonoff in her acceptance speeches, but he never mentioned her.

The 39-year-old music producer has said in the past that he owes his success to Swift because she saw his promise when they talked on Time’s Person of the Week podcast.

“She’s the first person who recognised me as a producer. A lot of people are afraid to sign off on something that isn’t done by a proven person,” he said at the time.

Page Six said that the parents of the bride and groom, Andie MacDowell and Paul Qualley, and Rick Antonoff and Shira Antonoff, as well as Rainey Qualley, Justin Qualley, and Rachel Antonoff, and the director Paul Downs Colaizzo, all spoke at the wedding reception.

People in the know also said that the wedding party had a tattoo artist on hand for anyone who wanted to get a tattoo.
