Taylor Swift Tells Her ‘Swifties’ Fans to Vote

Taylor Swift asked her fans, who she calls “Swifties,” to sign up to vote through social media.

On Tuesday, which was National Voter Registration Day, Swift told her more than 272 million Instagram fans to sign up to vote.

She also gave a link to Vote.org, a non-profit group and site with which she has worked in the past.

“I’ve been so lucky to see so many of you guys at my U.S. shows recently. I’ve heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are. Make sure you’re ready to use them in our elections this year!” she says at the beginning of her statement.

Swift’s loyal fans have always backed her, whether they listen to her on Spotify or buy her albums.

Because her latest re-release of “Speak Now: Taylor’s Version” went straight to No. 1, she became the first female artist to have more than 100 million monthly Spotify users.

Swift fans are getting ready to see her “Eras Tour” concert movie, which has already sold an incredible $26 million in advance tickets at AMC Theatres. This breaks the record for the most tickets sold in a single day, which was held by “Spider-Man: No Way Home” at $16.9 million.
