Joe Alwyn seems very sad about his breakup with Taylor Swift and her new relationship with Matty Healy.

After supposedly being dumped by Swift, who allegedly told him she was only ‘friends’ with The 1975 frontman, the 32-year-old British actor is apparently ‘distraught and slighted’ by the new romance between the British singer and the singer.

This month, rumors started to spread that Taylor Swift was dating Matt, the lead singer and songwriter of the pop rock band the 1975. This came just a few weeks after the news that she had broken up with Joe.

A source close to the actor told Daily Mail that Joe is very upset that his ex-girlfriend had moved on so fast, especially since he put his “trust” in Swift when she started working with Matty in the last few months of their relationship.

“Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself,” said the person.

Taylor and Matty worked together on her “Midnights” record, which came out in October 2022. They were first seen together on May 11, and Joe believed his girlfriend at the time when she said she was “friends” with the singer.

Matty had said that Taylor was “amazing” before and said that they had worked together for a while.

Two months later, on January 12, Swift surprised fans when she sang her new hit song “Anti-Hero” at a show by “The 1975” at London’s O2 Arena.
