Taylor Swift’s new affair with Travis Kelce is said to be an open message of retaliation to her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

The pop sensation kept her six-year romance with the British actor under wraps because Alwyn desired to stay out of the spotlight.

However, the Bad Blood singer has been publicly professing her love for the NFL player, which appeared to be her strategy to make her former love interest jealous.

While reviewing the Lover singer’s recent PDA-filled public appearances with Kelce, psychotherapist Jo Hemmings revealed that the singer has missed ‘regular’ celebrity relationships.

“We are so used to Taylor being such a private person,” she told The Sun. “She has often only really let us know how she is feeling via the lyrics of her songs.”

The expert went on to say that now that the singer has found someone loud, she doesn’t need songs to demonstrate Travis is proud to be with her.

“To get back at him in such a public way with someone who she is having a ball with is the sweetest revenge,” she went on to say.
