Taylor Swift’s Representative Addresses Father Scott Swift’s ‘Attack’ on an Australian Photographer

Taylor Swift’s father, Scott, allegedly got into a physical argument with an Australian photographer when they were celebrating the end of the Eras Tour’s Australian leg.

After the New South Wales Police Force in Sydney, Australia, opened an inquiry against Scott, the musician’s spokeswoman addressed the incident on Tuesday morning.

“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” according to a spokesperson for People Magazine.

Meanwhile, police would not confirm the identities of those involved, but informed the site that they were looking into a “alleged assault after a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf” around 2:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday.

Taylor has been in Australia for the past two weeks, performing several gigs in Melbourne and Sydney. During one of her shows, Scott distributed sandwiches to fans from the VIP tent.

Fans commended Scott for the wonderful gesture in footage shared on social media.

“What a dad thing to do! “[heart emoji,” one fan said on social media, while another stated, “Scott must be protected at all costs!”
