Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ Has the Second-Highest Opening Weekend in October, with $39 Million

The undeniable power behind Taylor Swift’s success, the “Swifties.”

As of right now, Taylor Swift’s film of her hit tour The Eras is already making news as the second-biggest October opening of all time.

That’s $39 million that this music movie made in its first day, and that’s just from 3,855 screens in North America.

This number includes a thrilling $2.8 million from Thursday previews.

The movie was supposed to come out on Friday the 13th, which is a big day in Swift’s life, but it was pushed back a day to Thursday after a star-studded screening in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Eras movie almost beat Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker’s record for the best October opening day ($39.3 million), but it didn’t quite make it. This shows how influential Taylor Swift is and how dedicated her fans are.

The weekend box office predictions for Taylor Swift’s concert film put it well within the $100 million range. It probably won’t make it to $125 million, though.

The movie was a hit because it was shown in big houses with more expensive tickets and only for a short time.

After being out until Monday, the Eras tour movie will not be seen again until the following weekend, starting on Thursday.

As part of their effort to make the musical experience more immersive, AMC Theaters has encouraged people to take pictures, dance, and sing along with the “You Belong With Me” singer.
