Teacher hit by car at Liberty High School has died, officials confirm

UPDATED ARTICLE AS OF ~10:40:

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) -According to Harrison County 911 officials, a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Mountaineer Drive in Clarksburg.

Officials confirmed that the person hit was a teacher at Liberty High School, and after being transported to the hospital, they were pronounced dead.

Officials say they will not be releasing the names of those involved.
