Technologies on display at auto event Pune: Acoustic vehicle alert system | Pune News


Pune: Acoustic vehicle alert system, track for testing advance driver assistant system (ADAS) and hydrogen-fuel bus were among the notable technologies featured at the symposium on international automotive technology (Siat) hosted by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) at Moshi.
The test track, developed by ARAI, features an iron bridge, unpaved and concrete roads, highways and three-way junctions, which facilitate vehicle level ADAS testing.The association also showcased its acoustic vehicle alert system. Tata Motors displayed its fuel cell hydrogen bus, Cummins group displayed fuel-agnostic engine. Altair featured its software platform, which enable automakers and manufacturing companies to create twin of an EV battery to run diagnostics through use of sensors.

International symposium on auto tech
Arai will conduct a symposium on automotive technology where technical experts from nine countries will present research on self-driving technology, emission control, alternative fuels, and tyre technology. The event will feature 210 technological papers and keynotes. Arai is also considering an MoU with UK-based Cenex.
