Hungarian Panna Udvardy advanced to the quarter-finals of the Colina Open by beating Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 6-4, 6-2 at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica.

Udvardy, ranked No 117, will face the winner of the match between Sara Bejlek and Georgian qualifier Ekaterine Gorgodze next.

The Hungarian won against Russian Diana Shnaider, the second seed (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Chilean tournament.

In the previous round of the Chilean tournament, Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 151, defeated Chilean wildcard Fernanda Labrana (6-2, 6-0).
