In a week of high drama, City Press can reveal that a heated argument between under fire Safa president Danny Jordaan and Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa is at the centre of Safa’s withdrawal of its doomed 2027 Fifa Women’s World Cup bid.
The fiery meeting took place virtually on Thursday afternoon, during which Kodwa allegedly told Jordaan in no uncertain terms that the South African government was not interested in supporting this bid.
