The Thanksgiving weekend usually offers some great sports to watch on television.

This weekend is no exception, with some must-see NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball and other games to see on TV.

Can there be such a thing as too much good sports on TV over the four-day holiday weekend?

The 2023 Thanksgiving weekend may put that question to the test.

Here’s a guide to sports to watch on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Saturday and Sunday, to help you navigate an extremely busy weekend in the sports world.

Thursday, Nov. 23 sports listings: 3 NFL games highlight games to watch on TV on Thanksgiving Day

NFL: Packers at Lions, 10:30 a.m., FOX

The Lions somehow rallied to beat the Bears in Week 11, while the Packers beat the Chargers, making this game more interesting.

Men’s college basketball: Arizona at Michigan State, 2 p.m., FOX

This game pits ranked foes against each other and Arizona is No. 3 in the nation.

NFL: Commanders at Cowboys, 2:30 p.m., CBS

Washington is 1-4 at home and 3-3 on the road this season, so maybe the Commanders have a chance?

College football: Ole Miss at Mississippi State, 5:30 p.m., ESPN

Ole Miss is 9-2 and Mississippi State is 5-6. It doesn’t matter. It’s a rivalry game.

NFL: 49ers at Seahawks, 6:20 p.m., NBC

A win by the Seahawks would put them right back in the NFC West race, even after that loss to the Rams.

Men’s college basketball: BYU vs. Arizona State (Las Vegas), 9:59 p.m., ESPN2

Can’t sleep after all that food or maybe you just woke up from your post-turkey nap? You’ve got an intriguing, very late game in Las Vegas.

Friday, Nov. 24 sports listings: Big NBA matchups highlight games to watch on TV on Black Friday

College football: TCU at Oklahoma, 10 a.m., FOX

The Horned Frogs would love nothing more than to hand the Sooners a loss in their final Big 12 regular season game.

NBA: Celtics at Magic, 12:30 p.m., NBA TV

The Celtics are off to a strong start, as predicted. The Magic? Their start is a surprise.

NFL: Dolphins at Jets, 1 p.m., Amazon Prime Video

Who will play QB for the Jets? Does it even matter? The season is spiraling in New York.

The Eastern Conference could be wide open in the NBA this season, and these two teams are right in the thick of the race.

College football: Oregon State at Oregon, 6:30 p.m., FOX

Oregon State would love to spoil Oregon’s Pac-12 Championship, and College Football Playoff hopes in the Civil War.

Men’s college basketball: Oregon at Santa Clara, 7:30 p.m., CBSSN

Oregon is 4-0, but don’t overlook Santa Clara. It is 5-0 on the season.

NBA: Spurs at Warriors, 8 p.m., ESPN

The Spurs aren’t winning much still, but they are always much watch with Victor Wembanyama.

College football: BYU at Oklahoma State, 1:30 p.m., ABC

BYU has found the Big 12 to be challenging this season. But it could make a bowl with an upset win over the Cowboys.

College football: Alabama at Auburn, 1:30 p.m., CBS

The Iron Bowl has produced some upsets over the years. Could 2023 bring another?
