On November 19, BTS member Jungkook’s solo debut song Seven, featuring American rapper Latto, was named Top Global K-Pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
Because he was unable to attend the program in person, the artist pre-recorded an award acceptance statement in which he offered his deep gratitude to all of his fans.
Jungkook began her remark by saying, “Thank you so much for the top global K-pop song for ‘Seven,’ it’s truly an honour.”
“It’s very hard to express my gratitude in words. Thank you ARMY and everyone who loves this song. Without you I couldn’t have got this amazing award,” he continued.
“While we’re working on ‘Seven’ I hope everyone could enjoy this track so the fact that I won this category means a lot to me,” he said in a statement.
The popular South Korean group’s youngest member expressed his joy at being able to share beautiful music with everyone.
Seven is a song from Jungkook’s debut solo album Golden, which has been on the Billboard Top 100 and Top 200 since July 14, 2023.
