The Actress’s Appearance in Sydney Has Sparked Divorce Rumors

After her husband, Benjamin Millepied, was caught cheating, Natalie Portman took off her wedding ring when she went out in Sydney.

People Magazine said that the actress from “Black Swan” was at the Angel City Equity Summit to support the National Women’s Soccer League team she helped start, Angel City FC.

The 42-year-old actor, who won an Oscar, wore a grey blazer, a white button-up shirt, jeans, and black flats. She finished off the look with black sunglasses, a shoulder bag, and earrings that stood out.

Nearly two months after Voici in France reported that her husband of 11 years was having an affair with a young climate activist, her wedding ring was stolen.

The 46-year-old was seen with the 25-year-old Camille Étienne, and a French site said that the two had been hanging out.

Portman and Millepied met on the Black Swan set, directed by Darren Aronofsky and came out in 2009. Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress for her part as ballerina Nina Sayers.

They got married in 2012 and have a son, Aleph, who is 12 years old, and a daughter, Amalia, who is 6 years old.

When the news of the affair got out, a source told Us Weekly that Portman felt “humiliated” by the claims. The source also said, “Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him.”

Page Six said that the actress was seen to be clearly upset while sitting on a park bench and having a deep conversation with someone during a day out. At one point, Millepied saw the actor wipe away tears as she did so.

There hasn’t been an official separation or divorce statement from either one of them yet.
