‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Makes Major Change After Renewal originally appeared on Parade.

The Bold and the Beautiful was renewed for three more seasons in April, keeping the show on air through 2028. Three months later, the hit CBS soap has announced a major change for the series.

According to Deadline, the daytime drama will leave Television City behind. The iconic CBS Studios have been the home to The Bold and the Beautiful since day one.

However, this summer, the soap will move to a new home but will remain in Los Angeles. The Bold and the Beautiful is moving to Sunset Las Palmas Studios, just a few miles north of Television City.

“We are honored to welcome The Bold and the Beautiful to Sunset Las Palmas, where we will deliver world-class service to ensure the entire cast and crew have an exceptional experience. Their long-term recommitment to Hollywood at this pivotal moment is an important symbol for the industry, and we hope others will follow their lead,” Sean Griffin, SVP of Sales for Sunset Studios and Quixote, shared with Deadline.

When The Bold and the Beautiful moves in August, it will mark the first time the soap isn’t filming across the hall from its sister soap, The Young and the Restless. The latter still has a few years left on its Television City lease and is staying put for now.

News of Bold’s move comes after The Price Is Right left Television City in 2023 for Haven Studios in Glendale. The reason for the shakeup at Television City is that the studio is in the middle of a major renovation that will last for years.

It’s the end of an era for The Bold and the Beautiful as the show moves studios after the summer hiatus.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
