The Hero Deputy Receives Flowers from the Two-Year-Old She Saved from Drowning

A Florida sheriff’s deputy received a special visit from a 2-year-old girl whose life she helped rescue with CPR following a weekend drowning. The girl was discovered face-down and unconscious in a swimming pool by a relative who was monitoring many toddlers. Police dispatchers instructed the family on how to perform CPR until Volusia County Deputy Kaelin Darcy arrived and took over until the infant resumed breathing. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but recovered sufficiently to deliver flowers to the sheriff’s office on Wednesday.
