Amazon has certainly evolved from its earlier days as strictly a digital bookstore. No longer do we need to peruse the aisles of Bed, Bath & Beyond in eternal search of what we deem to be the perfect shade of white for our bedroom comforter or settle for the generic, cookie-cutter art selection available at our local Hobby Lobby. Sure, Amazon may still carry plenty of arguably ugly or unnecessary home decor items or tools, but with the right search words, you can also find some of the most beautiful and useful items at the click of a button (at a reasonable price too, mind you.)
Personally, I like to think of my home as a highly curated collection of aesthetic and useful items. Some of which were discovered in the back of an overpriced antique store in the city, and some of which were, well, delivered by my trusty Amazon driver and cost all of $8.99. To be honest, though, you’d genuinely never be able to tell which is which. Amazon has gotten savvy, and they know what their customers want (probably because they’re listening into all of our conversations via Alexa, but let’s leave that for another time). As a result of their global power, they have the ability to find out exactly what’s trending at the moment and make it available on Amazon within days at a much more reasonable price than, say, Anthropologie could.
So, what exactly does our Evie team highly recommend or have in their shopping carts, specifically for the home, this spring? Let’s take a look.
