… making a call to action for the city’s investors, founders, and leaders to drive meaningful progress through venture and innovation during a talk at Circle T Ranch.

Henry Ross Perot III, shared his perspective with 200 innovators and investors at an event for Venture Dallas at Circle T Ranch in late October. As the grandson of pioneering Texas entrepreneur Ross Perot Sr. and son of Ross Perot Jr., he draws on his family’s legacy while charting his own course as Vice Chairman of Hillwood and an investor focused on accelerating growth.

In a fireside chat with Anurag Jain and Brendan Gaffey, Perot expressed confidence in the Dallas-Fort Worth region’s ability to prosper despite broader uncertainty. “It’s easy to be worried about the future. I’m not sure there’s a better place to be in the next five to 10 years than the state of Texas, and specifically North Texas,” he said.  “We are in a very good area to ride out a storm politically, geopolitically, and economically.”

Citing rapid population and economic expansion, business-friendly policies, and collaborative spirit, Perot emphasized North Texas as an ideal location. “Whether you’re a fund or a founder, this is a really good place to do business,” he told guests.
