The Murder of Marty York’s Mother Drives Him to ‘Rage, Vegeance’ in the Film the Sandlot

Marty York, who played The Sandlot, posted on Instagram that his mother had died, clearly upset.

On Thursday, Oct. 12, York’s mother, Deanne Esmaeel, who was a sheriff’s deputy, was found dead in her Sunset City, California, house.

The 43-year-old wrote, “This is the hardest post I’ll ever have to write but I found out from the sheriff department last night that my mother was murdered by a man she was seeing.”

He went on, “The emotions I have are horrible right now between rage, vengeance, crying.”

York told his followers that “a nationwide manhunt is underway” and asked them to “contact the authorities” if they saw the suspect.

“I just want my mom back [crying emojis]” was the other thing he wrote under his post.

On Facebook, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office said that Deanne Esmaeel’s body was found in her home on Thursday morning.

The police said they couldn’t give out any more information because the murder investigation was still going on, but they did say that Esmaeel’s boyfriend, Daniel James Walter, is a possible suspect in the case.

The police found the car, but they still haven’t found the 54-year-old suspect, whose new name is Edward Patrick Davies.
