JACKSON, Tenn. — Creativity starts here for students who are interested in the arts.
The Ned announced they will be hosting an after school Art Camp for middle and high school students from December 4-8.
The times for the camp will be 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The focus in this camp will be on visual arts.
Partnering with The Ned for this camp is local artist Courtney Haynes, of The Sketch Lab.
Students will be able to participate in anything from painting, to sculpting, to film.
“But we’re hoping with these camps, that young folks, middle school and high school age, can find a community of artists in Jackson,” said Executive Director of The Ned, David McCall.
