The sad death of Matthew Perry shocked and saddened everyone in the entertainment business and among his fans.

Perry got a lot of praise from people all over the world for his outstanding performance as Chandler Bing on the TV comedy Friends.

As the actor passed away on October 28, the official Friends Instagram page posted a touching tribute to the show’s star character.

“We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans,” the formal statement says.

Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice on Friends, said a touching farewell to her late co-star earlier today.

She wrote on Instagram, “The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.”

Police are said to have found Perry dead in a bathtub at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday.

According to TMZ, there is no evidence of foul play because the house was called for a cardiac death.
