Palisades Park Pictures announced on Thursday that John Travolta and Katherine Heigl will be in Nick Vallelonga’s new movie, That’s Amore.

Christopher Walken, an actor, is also likely to be in the movie.

The official summary of the movie says, “Nick Venere (Travolta) is a modern-day “Marty.” He’s never been married, and his best dating years are long behind him. He has never heard the words “I love you” and thinks he never will.

“Patty Amore (Heigl) has her share of problems as well. Shy and introverted, she’s filled with various tics and nervous habits. A secret from her past, combined with her over-protective father, have caused her to withdraw from the dating game. They share an immediate connection when Nick and Patty meet, literally bumping into one another. When these two emotionally damaged people attempt to date one another, their families get involved, and the results are hilarious.”

The movie will start filming in August and will be sold for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival. The CEO of PPP, Tamara Birkemoe, said that the quality of the films that PPP will continue to show buyers at upcoming film markets is shown by how many big names are in this movie and how sweet and romantic it is.
