The scenario for the second half of 2025 trade shows is changing. In particular, the events that used to take place altogether in September will happen separately, differently from the recent past.
The Milano Unica textile trade show has confirmed its July dates (from 8 to 10 at Fiera Milano Rho trade show pole). Though it has already been announced that in winter 2026 it will be held from January 20 to 22, ahead of its traditional February slot, due to the Milan-Cortina Olympics, which will undoubtedly have an impact on other events and might have an effect already on next fall dates.
Micam Milano, the footwear-focused trade show, and Mipel, the event dedicated to leather goods, will be brought forward to September 7-9, while Milano Fashion&Jewels, the show hosting accessories, clothing, and jewelry, and TheOne Milano, an event presenting the hottest novelties from haute-à-porter, are expected to happen on September 20-23–close to Milan Fashion Week, scheduled for September 23-29–despite not being confirmed yet.
On September 23, Milano Fashion&Jewels and TheOne Milano will coincide with the opening of Lineapelle, a trade show specializing in leather and accessories, and Simac Tanning Tech–an event dedicated to machinery and technology for footwear, leather goods, and tanning–, which will continue until the 25th.
More changes will affect the 64th edition of Filo, the yarn and fiber trade show. The event will also happen on September 23 and will move to pavilion 14 of Fiera Milano Rho, where it will be held for two days, despite the fact that in February 2025, the venue was the Allianz MiCo in Viale Eginardo.
“These dates allow us to fit into the international trade fair calendar in the most convenient way for companies. The decision to move Filo to Fiera Milano Rho also allows us to better meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors,” explained Paolo Monfermoso, head of Filo.
