‘The Spot’ Appears in ‘Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse’ Teaser

In the third trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales fights various enemies, including a Spider-Cat and The Spot, a bad guy who uses a portal to move between different dimensions.

This highly awaited movie is a follow-up to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film in 2019. Sony Pictures and Marvel made it.

In the video, you can see the new bad guy, The Spot, as he tries to steal an ATM from inside a bodega. Miles sees the ghost-like creature trying to open a hole in the machine so he can stick his hand in and steal it. It’s almost as if the villain who can move between universes hasn’t learned how to use his skills yet.

Later, Miles is thrown all over the universe to join a group of Spider-People. The smart Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 is in charge of the elite team. He will do anything to save the universe. “You have a choice between saving one person and saving everyone,” he tells Miles.

Miles says no to his idea, so he starts a war against Spider-People worldwide.

“Everyone keeps telling me how my story is supposed to go. Nah, I’mma does my own thing,” Miles tells Spider-Man 2099.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will open in theaters around the world on June 8. Hailey Steinfeld will play Gwen Stacy.
