L’Oréal Paris has returned to the runway for Paris Fashion Week, hosting its glittering annual celebration at one of the French capital’s most historic cultural institutions, the Opéra de Paris. The event saw more than 30 of the beauty brand’s ambassadors, from Viola Davis and Jane Fonda to Cara Delevingne and Simone Ashley (the latter making her catwalk debut) take centre stage for a make-up and fashion showcase to truly be marvelled at. The message of on the screen? “Walk your worth”, a play on the brand’s iconic tagline: “Because you’re worth it”.
A crowd of 3,000 guests gathered to witness the show’s seventh edition since 2016, with the event welcoming stars from around the world to celebrate empowerment, inclusion, diversity and sisterhood. The catwalk spectacle was separated into six acts, each presenting a different perspective on the power of beauty, and was live-streamed across more than 20 countries, including a special broadcast at London’s Piccadilly Circus. L’Oréal Paris’ global make-up director Val Garland and hairstylist Stéphane Lancien were responsible for the evening’s vibrant beauty display.
Kendall Jenner closed the show sporting a letterbox red custom Mugler gown, complete with graphic cut-outs, and her latest beauty transformation: a ‘golden hour’ blonde bob, styled in a retro bell-bottom flip. L’Oreal Paris regulars Camila Cabello, Andie Macdowell and Eva Longoria were also among the stars in attendance.
