The Tivoli Theatre Foundation recently launched TivEd, an educational program that offers opportunities to learn about the performing arts.
Ellie Austin, Director of Education at Tivoli, organized their first opportunity initiative where musical theatre students at the Center for Creative Arts discussed the musical “The Book of Mormon” with the cast from the show. Haven Zametz, Director of Community Engagement, moderated the discussion with students and the cast.
The Tivoli Theatre Foundation is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga to host more opportunities for students to get behind-the-scenes experience with other production casts and career-focused learning in the performing arts.
The Tivoli Theatre Foundation is also hosting a “Meet, Greet, & Give” drive tomorrow, Dec. 16th, to gather coats and canned foods for local charities.
