Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry will amaze fans in a new action movie with a lot of action and explosions.
The two Oscar winners are working together on Maude vs. Maude, which is being called a “Bond vs. Bourne-type” project because it takes place all over the world.
No one knows yet who will play the smooth superspy and who will play the scrappy outsider, but New Zealander Roseanne Liang (Shadow in the Cloud) has been chosen to direct from a story by Scott Mosier (Clerks).
Both Jolie and Berry will also be directors, and when the time comes, the glamorous places they’ll be jetting off to will be revealed.
Last week, the movie was the subject of a fierce bidding war between several studios. In the end, Warner Brothers won the bid.
Before making their new film together, the two action stars had been in a lot of other movies: Berry has parts in the science fiction movie The Mothership and the horror movie Never Let Go. Jolie is getting ready to play the famous opera singer Maria Callas in a big film by Pablo Larran. It’s clear that they can do anything.
