Phoenix Home & Garden 2024 Home Tour
Saturday, November 16

Are you looking for some inspiration for your home? Then you won’t want to miss this self-guided tour of some of the most beautiful private residences in the Valley. You will also have the opportunity to pick the brains of the area’s leading designers and architects, as well as the editors of Phoenix Home & Garden. VIP ticket holders get early admission and access to even more stunning homes, as well as a cocktail reception with catered nibbles to cap off the day. Canal Convergence
Through November 17

Eye-popping art that reflects color, water and light in both the literal and metaphorical sense will illuminate the Arizona Canal this fall. This annual event, presented by Scottsdale Public Art, will also feature hands-on activities, workshops, music and dance performances, and a beer and wine garden. Scottsdale Waterfront, 7135 E. AZ Barrels, Bottles & Brews
November 16

Grand Canyon Railway’s Polar Express
Through December 30

Santa’s elves will read Chris Van Allsburg’s popular holiday book (the basis for the movie starring Tom Hanks) as your family ventures up to “the North Pole.” There will be hot chocolate, cookies, sing-alongs and Santa Claus. 49th Annual Phoenix 10K Presented by HonorHealth Foundation
November 12

ace up your kicks and head to the starting line. Running season begins with a scenic race at Biltmore Fashion Park. Challenge yourself with a half-marathon or start simple with a 5K. Shemer Honors Tom Bollinger
November 15

Every year, Shemer Art Center honors a successful artist who has also impacted creativity in the state. This year, that honor goes to sculptor and founder/managing owner of the world-renowned art foundry Bollinger Atelier, Tom Bollinger. 2024 Niteflite: Time Flies Golf and Gala
November 15-16

This two-day event will feature a unique five-person-per-group format with a modified best-ball-scramble scoring system, play-with-the-pros holes, longest drive contests, closest-to-the-pin contests, and prizes for the top teams. The Little Red Hen

Holiday Inn

It’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. That must be why this production of the 1942 musical film about romance and yuletide cheer is getting underway weeks before Halloween. The film starred Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, and featured songs by Irving Berlin, including “White Christmas,” which was allegedly written at the Arizona Biltmore, and inspired its own hit movie musical in 1954.
