Candle art is gaining attention on social media, especially after a video showcasing a food-themed candle resembling Mumbai’s vada pav went viral. The artist from ‘house of drip._’ demonstrated how to craft this candle. They started with a block of wax shaped like a vada pav. Coloring the middle part yellow-orange created the batata vada appearance. A wick was inserted through the middle. The top was painted golden brown to mimic pav. Green pigment was added in the crevices for hari chutney. Additional orangish wax was used to represent dry garlic chutney. The finished candles were placed on a newspaper, and one was lit. This creative process and attention to detail garnered admiration from viewers.
