Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a crash involving three cars on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The accident scene was in the 25000 block of Highway 150. After sheriff deputies investigated, they found that 62-year-old Kenneth Pape of West Union was waiting to turn left in his GMC Envoy when 18-year-old Aspen Ahrenholz hit the back of Pape’s car. After this, Ahrenholz’s car went into oncoming traffic and hit a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by 54-year-old Tommy Brown.
A press release sent out by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office stated none of the cars involved in the accident are salvageable.
Ahrenholz was ticketed for following the car in front of him too closely.
In addition to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, West Union Police Department, West Union Fire and First Responders, Gunderson Ambulance and Moss Service Center helped at the scene.
