
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three people were injured after a stolen car sped away from police and crashed Friday afternoon, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
MPD said the stolen car was spotted at Tillman and Sam Cooper Boulevard around 2:20 p.m. A helicopter was brought in to track the stolen car and saw it crashed out at Jamerson and Macon, according to police.
Three people got out of the car and ran from police but were quickly taken into custody, MPD said. A man suffered non-critical injuries and two children were taken to Le Bonheur in non-critical condition, according to police.
