Tickets discounted for Billy Joel exhibit on Long Island

STONY BROOK, N.Y. (PIX11) — Fans who may be reeling after Billy Joel’s concert cancellation and announcement of having a brain disorder may still be able to honor the Rocket Man in his hometown of New York.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is offering special discounted tickets to their exhibition “Billy Joel My Life: A Piano Man’s Journey” until June 6.

Things To Do Around NYC

Visitors can use the promotion code “welovebilly” when buying tickets online or on location to get $5 off. Tickets will be valid for entry until August 31.

“We are saddened to hear about Billy Joel’s illness and would like to support his disappointed fans…,” said LIMEHOF Chairman Ernie Canadeo. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Billy and his family, and we wish him a full and speedy recovery.”

A portion of ticket sales will also be donated to the organization’s scholarship fund to help graduating high school students majoring in music and performing arts.

New York-native and legendary performer Billy Joel was originally set to perform at Yankee Stadium, MetLife Stadium, and Citi Field this summer.

His tour was canceled through 2026 due to his being diagnosed with the brain disorder Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus which can affect thinking and concentrating, memory, movement and more.
