Tiffany Haddish may need an intervention soon after being arrested for DUI.

Though the actress and comedian shrugged off her recent arrest, her friends are afraid that Haddish is dealing with something more.

“Tiffany likes to drink and have a good time, but her friends are noticing that she is drinking way more around the holidays,” a source close to Haddish told Page Six.

Her friends have also noticed that Haddish “may be lonely and hiding behind a fake smile.”

According to the source, Haddish’s latest arrest was “surprising” to her pals who had seen her overcome many obstacles to achieve where she is.

“But now she has found the success she has always dreamed of, new demons are coming to the surface in the form of alcohol,” a person familiar with the matter said.

Early Friday morning, Beverly Hills Police Department officers discovered Haddish passed out behind the wheel of her automobile and arrested her for allegedly driving under the influence.

Haddish was arrested for a DUI for the second time, the first time in January 2022.

The Girls Night actress joked about her arrest, which was originally reported by TMZ, during her performance at the Laugh Factory the next day.

“We love the fact that she can move on from this and turn this life situation into a part of her comedy routine. But we are concerned,” her friends said.

For what it’s worth, Haddish told Entertainment Tonight that she wanted to “get help” after her most recent arrest, promising that “this will never happen again.”
