The TikTok food critic with millions of followers rates food and customer service from small restaurants around the U.S. This one didn’t make the cut.
PHOENIX — Keith Lee is on a roll in Arizona, and the popular food critic hit his first disappointment.
Over 15,000 of his viewers voted that he try the Phoenix hot wings stop, Ace of Wingz. And right off the bat, Keith wasn’t feeling it.
“The customer service, my family said, was just okay. And I can see how that could be the cause ’cause the first thing on they website is this message,” Lee said at the start of his review. He showed the following message from the restaurant’s website:
“Unfortunately, we can no longer guarantee that your pickup time will be ready on time due to high demand and popularity on top of how long it takes to make chicken wings. Friday to Sundays are ridiculously busy and online orders can take up to 25 minutes longer than expected. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also It is your responsibility to make sure everything you paid for is in your bag before leaving the premises. No refunds or exchanges for missing items once you leave the property Please double check thank you.”

The order during Lee’s visit came to about $43. So how was the food from Ace of Wingz? Not for him, he said.
Here are the reviews:
Lee got the V.I.P. Platter which comes with 18 hot wings in six different flavors.
“And before I say the flavors, I will say they crazy and that’s not an understatement,” Lee said as he kicked off the review. Lee got three of the “normal” flavors and three of the “special” flavors.
Some of the wings… “I’m not a fan, at all,” he said.
Here’s how they measured up:
- Lemon Pepper — 7.5/10
- Hot Honey Lemon Pepper — 7/10
- Strawberry Lemon Pepper — 1/10
- Lemon-Lime Buffalo Elote — 2.5/10
- Hot Cherry — 2/10
- Sweet Garlic Teriyaki — 5/10
After the review, Lee made it clear that just because he wasn’t a fan, doesn’t mean other people won’t be. He encouraged people to go try Ace of Wingz even if it wasn’t to his taste.
“It’s an experience. It’s just personally not my favorite experience, but it might be different for you.”
