BELFAST — To help the newly established nonprofit Colonial Theatre press into spring as a center for art on screen and stage, it welcomes Maine’s premiere comedy icon Tim Sample onto its Dreamland Stage.

Though having toured for decades, Sample will be in Waldo County for the first time Saturday, April 13, at 8 p.m. as a benefit for the 112-year-old theater.
