Timothée Chalamet Is Scheduled to Return as Host of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Timothée Chalamet is preparing to return to the SNL stage.

On November 11, the Dune actor will host an episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live Season 49. Boygenius, an indie supergroup comprised of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, will perform with him.

Chalamet has previously been on Saturday Night Live and will be making his hosting debut on December 12, 2020.

The actor’s planned engagement comes ahead of the December 8 premiere of his film Wonka.

The latest season of the comedy show premiered earlier this month, with Pete Davidson and Ice Spice serving as host and musical guest, respectively.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made surprise cameo appearances in the program as well.

In the second show, Bad Bunny served as both host and musical guest. Following Desi Arnaz in 1979, the Efecto rapper became only the second Latin musician to host and perform on SNL.

Lady Gaga, Mick Jagger, and Pedro Pascal also made brief appearances during the show.
