ALBANY — Tin Mountain Conservation Center will feature artist Laura Thomson, who will be exhibiting her works at the Nature Learning Center in Albany. Opening reception is Thursday, Jan. 23, from 5-7 p.m. All are welcome.

Thomson was born in Cleveland and started to paint after teaching school, raising two children and operating two small businesses and endless hours of volunteer work. Since 2006, she has lived in Freedom. She travels extensively and spends a couple of months every year in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico with her husband, Maynard. Mexico’s brilliant sunshine and electric energy beautifully complement life in New Hampshire.
